AUTHOR'S NOTE: you may have noticed that anon comments have now been disabled on my journal. This was done because of a very inappropriate comment that someone left anonymously to this specific fic. I almost gave up on continuing this fic because of it. But I'm back with a new chapter!!!!
ETA: forgot to state that I've changed the POV to third person! whoops! I will be going back to fix past chapters to this POV also so it'll be less confusing for everyone once I get my bingo!

CHAPTER SEVEN
Luckily at one o‘clock, there was a small break in the rain, just long enough for Tommy and Bella to get to Cherry’s and Cam’s hotel. Once they were in the lobby it started down pouring outside. “Jesus, we’re lucky,” Tommy muttered. Bella nodded in agreement, taking Tommy’s hand and leading him over to the elevators. Bella pushed the button for the fourth floor and smiled as Tommy wrapped his arms around her from behind, hugging her close. They rode the lift in silence, content to just cuddle each other until the elevator dinged and the doors opened. Bella took Tommy Joe by the hand again and led him down the hall to the room she had been planning on sharing with Cherry.
Bella knocked on the door, having traded key cards with Cam the night before. Cherry opened the door with a bright smile on her face. “Hey you!” she said pulling Bella in for a tight hug and kiss. She did the same with Tommy. “Did you guys bring your suits?” she asked, ushering the pair in to the room.
Bella held up her overnight bag. “Got ‘em right here,” she answered.
“Great! Cam, are you almost ready?” Cherry called to the man in the bathroom. Suddenly the bathroom door was flung open and Cam walked out.
“Ready and rarin’ to go,” he said. He and Bella smiled at each other as he gave her a hug. “Hey, Bella, long time no see.”
Bella laughed. “Yeah, you too.” He and Tommy hugged and then the foursome all head down to the hotel restaurant for some lunch. Luckily the power’s back on, on their block of hotels so they can actually have a cooked meal. Not that Bella would have minded a cold sandwich or anything. But it’d been quite a while since she had last eaten. Like, before the concert quite a while. After a big lunch they go back to Cherry’s and Cam’s room to change in to their bathing suits. They make quick work of changing and then head downstairs to the indoor pool.
Cherry and Bella got in the pool as soon as they were at the water’s edge. The boys on the other hand, sat on the edge of the pool, dipping their feet in. Such wimps! Bella thought.
She and Cherry were treading water in the deeper end of the pool, talking about their night apart with their men. A few moments went by when they suddenly noticed the pool area was eerily quiet. The only noises that could be heard were the soft sounds of the filter and the gentle lapping of the water against the side of the pool.
Cherry looked around. “Hey, where’d the boys go?” she questioned. All of a sudden there were hands circling both girls’ ankles and tugging sharply, effectively dunking the pair under the clear water.
The two came up sputtering, wiping water from their eyes to the sound of deep belly laughs. Cherry and Bella quickly swam the few strokes over to Cam and Tommy. They tackled them, dunking the men in retaliation. When Tommy and Cam came up for air, they were still laughing.
“Jerk,” Bella muttered. Tommy swam close, wrapping his arms around Bella’s waist, and nuzzled her cheek.
“’M sorry,” he murmured.
“Yeah, right,” Bella scoffed. Tommy stuck out a pillow-y bottom lip and gave Bella pleading puppy-dog eyes.
“Forgive me?” he asked.
Bella rolled her eyes and snaked her arms around Tommy’s neck. “Like I could say no to that face,” she stated.
Tommy’s pout turned in to a grin and he leaned forward to brush his lips against Bella’s. “Love you,” he said softly.
Bella smiled back at him. “I love you too,” she murmured. Then their lips met in a slow, sweet kiss.
The foursome played around in the pool for a while longer before the girls began to get chilly. They climbed from the pool and Tommy wrapped a fluffy hotel towel around Bella’s shoulders. He rubbed at her arms briskly, trying to warm her a little. Then he sat down in one of the lounge chairs and tugged on Bella’s hand. “C’mere,” he gently demanded. Bella fell on to the seat between Tommy’s spread thighs. She curled in to his chest and let him wrap his towel around her as a second blanket. “Better?” he asked. Bella nodded, melting in to Tommy’s embrace.
The swim hadn’t been a long one, but they figured that would happen when the hotel clerk had warned them that the storm had blown the fuse to the pool heater. And yet, the two couples didn’t care. It was the middle of August and the hurricane had brought unbearable humidity with it, even though the actual temperature was in the mid-sixties. It was one of those days where you wanted to wear jeans and a hoodie, but the humidity made you hot and sticky. The weather was a major contradiction.
When Cherry and Bella had warmed up a bit and Cam and Tommy had kissed their lips from blue to red, they all headed back to Cam’s and Cherry’s room to change.

Short, I know. But stay tuned for chapter eight!
