Writing Table Prompt #037: stay
Title/Chapter: Stay (01/01) [drabble]
Author: amanda: jaclyn's twin sister
Pairing: Not stated (in my head it's Kate & Zac Hanson)
Rating: PG-13 / R
Prompt Number: 037. Stay
My Table
PROMPT #037: stay
"Stay," she whispers, tears in her eyes. I sigh, my hand on the cool metal knob.
"I can't," I tell her quietly.
"Why? Don't you love me?" Her wet, red-rimmed eyes search my face. When I don't answer, her bottom lip begins to tremble.
"I hate you!" she yells. She swiftly moves closer, pouding me with her fists. "I hate you! I hate you! I hate you!"
I grab her tiny wrists, holding her arms tightly to my chest trying to stop the assault.
"Lemme go!" she grinds out, struggling against my grip.
"Calm down!" I bark. She instantly freezes, looking up at me with fire in her eyes. "I'm sorry," I tell her quietly.
"No you're not," she replies through gritted teeth. I lean down so close to her our noses almost touch.
"You don't know how I feel," I say slowly, and the truth was she didn't.
"If you cared about us at all you'd stay and try to work this out," she replies angrily.
We stare at each other, breathing heavily from our emotions. The tense passion is so thick in the air you could cut it with a knife. The next thing I know we lunge at each other, kissing hungrily. There's a spark between us that hasn't been there in so long. A spark that I thought had been lost forever.
We shed our clothes on the way to the bedroom. My hands dig into her silky locks, pulling her over to our queen-size bed. We climb onto the mattress, our lips still locked. Then I flip her on to her stomach plunging myself into her tight heat.
We fuck hard and fast, the process ending quickly. I stare up at the ceiling as she cuddles into my side. We lay there silently, our breathing still labored, feelings of guilt running through my veins. One that gets worse when our baby starts to cry.
My wife gets up, slipping her robe on and pads to the door. She stops, her hand on the door frame and turns to look at me.
"Stay," she whispers.
"For a little while," I reply.
And I do.

I'm glad you like this b/c I'm actually very proud of it. And yeah, Kate.... That's all I'm gonna say on that. And srsly, Zac *DOES* have his good / bad days. Taylor just always has bad days and Ike is the nicest. He hugs the girls that Taylor is scared to hug. lol (it's a true story....or my perspective on what i saw)
luv you toooooooo ♥
