CHAPTER SIX
OLIVIA's POV
"Are you sure?" Zac asks. I nod, biting my lip.
"It's just... I've never done this before." I hold breath, half scared that he's going to laugh. But he just brushes a lock of hair from my eyes and says,
"That's okay. I haven't either."
"You and Kate never...?" I make a gesture with my hand.
Zac shakes his head. "No, never. I told her I wanted to wait until marriage. But really, she just wasn't the one... And I almost married her." The drummer sighs as he slides off me and mutters to himself, "Way to ruin a moment, Zac."
I turn on to my side and trace the line of Zac's jaw with my fingertip.
"You didn't ruin the moment," I tell him quietly. He turns his face towards me.
"I haven't?"
"No. But... Do you need to talk?" Zac turns his eyes to the ceiling.
"Maybe," he whispers. I pull the blankets over us and snuggle into the musician's side. He wraps his arm around my shoulders as I lay my head on his chest.
"We don't have to talk," I tell him softly. "But if you want to, I'm all ears. You can tell me anything. I'll listen."
"Thanks," Zac whispers kissing my hair. Then we lay in silence.
After a few moments Zac speaks. "She cheated on me." I wait for him to continue, but he doesn't. I lick my lips.
"How'd you find out?"
"She was pregnant," he says. "Obviously it wasn't mine since we'd never had sex. I told her we were done right then and there. I haven't spoken to her since."
"I'm so sorry, Zac," I whisper.
"I'm not," he replies. Then he looks at me. "Not anymore at least." I feel myself blush and press my face into his chest to hide my smile. He chuckles lightly, stroking my hair. "You're too cute," he says, which only makes my cheeks burn hotter.
Zac continues to stroke my hair, then gives one of my curls a little tug.
"Hey...look at me," he commands gently. I slowly lift my face from his chest. He smiles and pecks the end of my nose.
"I love you," he says. The combination of his words and the loving smile on his face make me melt.
"I love you too," I tell him. Then I lean in to press my lips to his, kissing him softly. He lets out a breathy little sigh, his lips parting just enough to let me sneak my tongue in.
Zac wraps my curls around his fingers, gently tugging me closer. I move on top of him, straddling his waist. I slide my hands over his well-muscled chest feeling my whole body tingle with desire. I need Zac to want me just as much. I pinch his nipples making him moan and thrust his hips. I reply with a moan of my own.
"Zac!" I gasp as the drummer gently kneads my breasts.
Suddenly Zac flips us, pinning me down with his solid body. He lifts his mouth from mine, breathing deeply. His dark eyes search my green ones.
"I love you," he murmurs.
"I love you too," I respond, sliding my fingers through his soft hair.
"I don't want to hurt you," he confesses.
"Just go slowly and gently," I tell him. "I'll be okay."
Zac bites his lip. "Are you sure?" I frown.
"Zac, if you don't want to do this, we don't have to. It's okay. I'm not mad," I assure him.
"No, it's not that," he's quick to reply. "It's just... I don't want to hurt you and I've heard it hurts when a girl loses her virginity." He shrugs. "That's all."
I stroke Zac's hair and face, trying to calm his fears.
"I'm tough, I can handle it," I tell him playfully. "But seriously, you're worth the pain, Zac, and I'm glad you're the one I get to share this moment with." The singer kisses me softly.
"I love you," he whispers.
"I love you too," I teply. Then I gently guide his hips to mine.
Zac leans down to kiss me as he slowly penetrates me. I try to concentrate on his pillowy lips, but it's somewhat difficult as his thick cock rips into the last of my innocence. I wince and Zac's body tenses.
"Are you okay?" he asks breathlessly. I nod.
"Yeah, I'm okay. Keep going."
"Are you sure?" I nod again.
"I'll be fine. Please, Zac." He searches my eyes for a moment, then gives a firm nod. I pull him down for another kiss as he slowly slips deeper inside of me.
My heart pounds against my rib-cage as Zac pulls his hips back then gently thrusts forward. It's uncomfortable, but I know it'll get better.
Zac kisses and caresses me as he dips in and out of my most sensitive area. His sweetness makes me melt and slowly but surely the pain turns to pleasure.
"Ohh," I moan. Zac freezes.
"Are you okay?" I reach down to grip his hips, pulling him close.
"Don't stop," I tell him. "Please don't stop." As he pulls out and thrusts back in, a whimper of pleasure escapes my lips. Zac looks at me and I nod. At that moment it's like that one sound is all it takes for the drummer to gain his confidence. He starts to truly make love to me then. Our bodies dampen with sweat, sliding against each other easily. We moan and whimper as the pleasure increases, our voices melding until I can't tell which sound is coming from who. Soon it's too much for me to handle, my body quivering with uncontrollable delight as my climax rushes through me.
"Zac! Oh god, Zac!" I cry out, pulling him into a hard kiss. Not a moment later Zac's body begins to shake and his thrusts become erratic. He buries his face against my neck and lets out a deep guttural moan, his warm seed filling me. I pull my lover into a slow soft kiss, breathing hard through my nose.
Our kisses are a bit sloppy as we come down from our natural high. Then Zac pulls back to look at me. He slides his fingertips over my cheek softly.
"I love you," he whispers.
"I love you too," I reply, a tear sliding down my cheek. Zac wipes it away with his knuckle gently asking what's wrong.
I sigh. "Nothing's wrong. Just... overwhelming emotions." The drummer makes a face. I laugh lightly. "Don't look so worried. They're good emotions."
"Are you sure?" he asks. I nod.
"Yeah. Very sure."
Zac nuzzles my nose gently.
"It wasn't too painful?" I shake my head, our noses rubbing again.
"It was better than I thought the first time could be," I tell him.
"Good, 'cause that's just how I feel too," he replies. I smile softly and he slowly slides off of me. He pulls the blankets over us that had gotten tangled around our feet and lays down beside me.
Zac snuggles close and rests his head on my chest, his arm wrapping around my waist. We lay in silence for a moment, reveling in what just took place. Then Zac runs his fingertips over my belly.
"Do you think we made a baby just now?" he asks. I smile and stroke his hair.
"Maybe," I answer. "There's a chance since we didn't, ya know, use any protection." Zac nods. "Do you, do you want us to have a baby?" He shrugs.
"I don't know. I think it'd be nice. I mean, I'm twenty-two. I want to get married and have a family. I want the house and the yard and the..."
"White picket fence," I whisper with him.
My heart starts to speed up, a wave of nervousness washing over me. Zac lifts his head, a smile on his handsome face.
"How'd you know?"
"It's every little girl's dream," I tell him quietly, feeling bad for lying. He grins at me.
"And some little boys'."
"Yeah, but most of them are gay." Zac chuckles, the sound calming me some.
"True," he says. Suddenly he becomes quite serious. "I need to talk to you about something."
"O-Okay," I stutter, his words bringing my nerves back into play.
"I want you to come on tour with me," Zac states. I look at him confused.
"I am on tour with you."
"Yeah, but I mean really come on tour. Like stay on the bus and in my hotel room every night," he explains. "I can have your car sent home and at the end of tour you could stay a while in Tulsa. What do you think?"
My heart pounds painfully against my ribs.
"I uh, I gotta go." I jump out of the bed and scramble for my clothes.
"I thought you were going to spend the night," Zac says, confusion marring his pretty face.
"I just... I gotta go, Zac."
"Please, Liv. Please just come back to bed," he pleads. "You don't have to stay in Tulsa if you've got to get back to work or something. You don't even need to decide right now. Just please... Come back to bed." He gives me a kicked puppy look making my eyes fill with tears.
I zip my jeans up and tug my shirt down.
"I'm sorry," I murmur. "I just... I can't." Then I go running from the room, tears streaming down my face. I make it down the hall and into my hotel room before Zac can get some clothes on and chase me. But then I hear him in the hall.
"Liv, wait!" he shouts. I lean against the door, the wood cool against my hot cheek.
"Damnit, Olivia!" I hear stomping steps and then a door slams.
I pull my cell phone from my pocket and press the first speed dial number. A groggy voice answers.
"'ello?"
"Aaron... I need you," I whimper. The bass player sounds wide awake when he says,
"I'll be right there." Then I sit and wait for my best friend.
