OMFG!

My friend Liz called me a little while ago and told me some shocking news. Her ex-husband, and father of her child, was arrested by the Concord Police. It was on the news this morning AND in the Concord Monitor. So I, obviously, had to check it out. Thank god today is one of the days we get the paper. We only get it Thursday thru Sunday. But anyway, here's the article.

Police Make Arrest In Credit Card Fraud 

After asking for help identifying suspects in several cases of credit card fraud, the police have arrested Raymond Gentzel, 26, of Boscawen on charges of forgery and identity fraud.

Gentzel was released on $5,000 personal recognizance bail and is due to be arraigned August 19th @ 8:30AM in Concord District Court.

The crimes leading to the arrest took place in May, when the police say someone made $362 worth of purchases on a stolen credit card at Concord-area businesses.

According to the police, on May 1st a young adult man and a woman used a stolen credit card to purchase $184.66 of merchandise at Wal-Mart on Concord's Loudon Road. At Wal-Mart, the purchases were caught on the store's video camera, the police said. The card was also used at gas stations in Loudon and Boscawen and at Target and JC Penney in Concord.

After circulating video surveillance images and asking for assistance identifying suspect, the police arrested Gentzel. The female involved has been identified but has not been charged.

Like, holy hell! Srsly! I saw the Wal-Mart video on the news! I just can't fucking believe it. It's fucking crazy. I guess he was charged with, like, seven counts of identity fraud and only one count of forgery. Or at least that's what he told Liz. But srsly. OMG! And the picture in the paper doesn't even look like him. He's gained a bunch of weight and he looks very......gay, I guess you'd say. I dunno. It's all just too weird for me. And apparently this is just the only time he's been caught. He apparently has tried to take out credit cards in his step-dad's name and when he and Liz were together he searched on the internet for someone with his exact name so he could apply for credit cards with their social security number. But it didn't work cause the guy was dead. So yeah, hullow weirdness. People are just so stupid.
