Knit & Crochet Fool!

So I've been knitting and crocheting lately. It's all Mary Lou's fault. She called to talk to my mom a few different times and she kept asking if I was knitting. That totally gave me the knit / crochet bug. Now I can't stop. Here are a few of my latest projects.....




I made this on Thursday and Friday. It really didn't take long. It's the first time I've been able to make a Granny Square without someone sitting by my side helping me. I had a really good pattern that was easy to understand.





I started this on Friday when I was done with the above Granny Square. This is only one skein (ball) of yarn. The pattern calls for 5 but my mom only got me 4 b/c she was @ Building #19 and this was all they had. I think it's awesome.

So anyway, that's what I've been up to. And n_isfor_neville's pix of her crocheted animals are really inspiring. But I want to finish this project first. I can't wait to make the Panda Bear. Maybe I'll give it to Teeny Tiny Andrew so he'll always think of his Aunty Panda Bear. =D

LOL! I'm the same way! I started crocheting a baby blanket for my friend's baby when she was only 6 months pregnant. The "baby" is now 5 and a half and it's nowhere near done!
