WRITING PROMPT #037: stay
"Stay," she whispers, tears in her eyes. I sigh, my hand on the cool metal knob.
"I can't," I tell her quietly.
"Why? Don't you love me?" Her wet, red-rimmed eyes search my face. When I don't answer her bottom lip begins to tremble
"I hate you!" she yells.

That isn't all I have right now. There's more. But I'm having a hard time deciding whether to continue or go to bed. I'm in a really good groove but it's already past 2:00am. Anyone got any opinions?
