effing computer Part 2

writefictionSo my computer went away for the weekend. Frank checked it all over and found a damaged cable. He replaced it and sent it back here. I hooked it up and immediately started it up. It booted perfectly normal. The next day it booted perfectly normal. But when I went to turn it on again later that day....It didn't work. I couldn't even put it into safe mode. So we called Frank. When he called us back he was completely baffled. This has never happened to him in all the years he's been fixing/building computers. So, because our computer is under warranty, we will be getting a brand new on from him. It sucks for him, b/c he didn't make any profit off this computer he built for us. Now he's going to make us a whole brand new computer and we don't have to pay at all. So now he's definitely not making any money off this. I feel bad that he has to go through all this trouble. But he cannot for the life of him figure out what's wrong with this thing. And I still need to finish the Eagle project!
I'm only about half way done on it and there are things I need to go back and redo b/c I didn't know what was written down or whatever. The boy scout I'm doing this for, his mom told me that if our computer keeps being a fucktard and won't let us on, she's going to have to let me use her laptop. And this weekend while the computer was gone I told my mom that Phylis should just give me her laptop now so I can actually get some work done on the thing. It has to be done by, like, October and I was really hoping to get it done ASAP and not last minute. Especially since I may be getting a job soon. I don't want to have to worry about work and then come home and worry about this project.
But anyway, if you don't see me on a lot, it's b/c of this stupid computer and it's lack of co-operation. It'll be a few weeks before I get my new and hopefully working computer. Pray for me that this computer will at least let me get this Eagle Project done.
