CHAPTER SEVENTEEN

Zac's POV

Taylor's in the shower and I'm just laying in bed, staring up at the ceiling, listening to Taylor's muffled singing. We sing for a living, yet he still sings in the shower. I smile to myself. Then I hear knocking on the apartment door. I frown, pulling a pair of sweats from my nearby duffel and slip them on. Then I head to the front of the apartment.

I look through the peep-hole to find Isaac out in the hall. I open the door to let him in.

"How'd you get up here without buzzing?" I ask, following my brother to the kitchen.

"I used my key," Isaac answers.

"Key?" I arch my brows.

"When I had the second set of keys made for you, I had a set made for me," Isaac explains, checking the three paper cups he brought with him. Then he hands one to me. "Vanilla Chai," he states. I nod and take a sip of the hot liquid.

"So where's Taylor?" Isaac asks. "I brought bagels." He holds up a brown paper bag.

"He's in the shower," I answer, leaning against the counter. Isaac nods, busying himself with unloading a bag of paper plates, napkins and other bagel-eating supplies.

"So what did you two do last night?" he asks. I grin, remembering the activities of the night before.

"You sure you want to ask that question?" I counter.

"Why? Did you have sex on the kitchen table or something?" Isaac replies.

"No, that's tonight," I tell him. "Last night we christened the bed."

"Aw, jeez. I did not need to know that," Isaac says making a face.

"You started it," I retort.

At that moment Taylor appears, freshly showered and dressed. I smile as he walks over to me. But at the last minute he veers towards the Starbucks cup on the counter.

"Oooh, coffee," he says, his eyes lighting up. I pout.

"Go ahead, dismiss me for coffee. It's alright. I don't care." I add a sniffle at the end for added effect. Taylor laughs lightly.

"Aw, I'm sorry." He hugs me, coffee in hand, and kisses me softly. "Better?" he asks.

"I guess I can forgive you," I tell him. "But you owe me." Taylor laughs again.

"Sure, Baby."

Isaac clears his throat, making us look at him.

"Who wants bagels?" He holds up the paper bag and Taylor grabs it.

"I'm starving!" he says, rooting around for a bagel of his liking.

The three of us eat our bagels and finish our drinks. Then we get to work unpacking.
