November 5, 2005........The whole deal

writefictionI think it's high time that I report my Hanson experience to you all. So here goes....
On the way to Hampton Beach, Jaci and I got pulled over for speeding. It was weird. We were going, like, 65 and we're behind this SUV. Then we notice this car is right on our ass and it traps us between it and the car in front of us. Then all of a sudden, the blues come on. The guy on our ass was a state trooper! He pulled us over and told us we were going 87.
1). Jaci's car only goes up to 85
2). we both looked at the speedometer when the lights came on & it said 65
3). When the old stationwagon gets to 75, it starts shaking.
Any higher, the shaking gets really bad and feels like the car is going to break down.
So we weren't going that fast. We know we weren't. But Jaci got a 250$ ticket anyway.
When we get to the Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom, the doors have already been opened and everyone's inside. We ended up getting really close tho b/c we're used to going to shows like MEST, Good Charlotte, The Used, etc. At those shows it's common knowledge that if you don't move with the crowd, you get trampled. So every time that someone moved away, Jaci and I pushed forward and that's how we ended up getting close. But anyway, Jaci & I took pix and such. Her pictures came out really good (check them out here: HaNsoN) but I haven't seen mine yet b/c I have two pix left to take and I really haven't had the time to go get them developed. I really hope the inside pix came out good.
But anyway! Near the end of the show, we got out of the crowd and I bought an awesome hoodie that I just took off yesterday for the first time b/c Mom was doing the wash. (the concert was on Saturday) Then Jaci and I went outside and stood behind the barricade next to the bus. There were only, like, 4 or 5 others out there, but if you look at Jaci's pix, you'll see the insanity after the show actually ended. Everyone was crowding around the bus. It was crazy. Zac came out right after the show ended, but got on the bus to change cause he was all sweaty and wet. Bout 10 minutes later he came back out and signed things and took pictures. He went up and down the barricade 3 times. I got him to sign my Chucks. But when he gave it back to me, I dropped my Indie Sampler CD that the Casino Staff was handing out on the way out. I was all, Could someone get that please? It was right by Zac's feet so he picked it up, signed it and gave it back. So I ended up with Zac's autograph twice. When I asked him to take a pic with me he was all, Ummmmmm and turned to the girl next to me, took a pic with her and got on the bus. Like, what the fuck?
So another, like, 2 hours pass and Taylor and Isaac come out. I got them both to sign my chucks, obviously you knew Isaac did by the pic in the post below. I even took a picture of Isaac signing my shoe. I hope I actually got the shoe in it. I mean, I couldn't really back up to make sure I got it in b/c all the girls were pushing forward. The foot of the barricade was off the ground. The only way to keep it down was for me to stand on it. The one and only time I'm glad for my 175 pounds. But it was cool cause I got some up close n personal pix of the guys when they were standing right in front of me on the other side of the barricade. Jaci and I have totally decided that Taylor's a Diva tho. *giggle* AND the QUEEN of Scarves. There's no if's, and's or but's about it, the man is gay! haha But I love him for it. And really, I don't think Lacy's issue is just about her. He's like that to ALL fans. Trust me. And anyway, I still love Lacy!!!!! ;D
After 8 very long years, I finally got to meet them. I'm completely happy. Now my next mission is to get a pic with me and them together. Prolly take another 8 years, but hey, I can wait. :D I had an awesome time and got to see their little sister Jessie, who ain't so little anymore and baby Penelope. She is such a doll! And oh! Some girl grabbed Zac's ass and another was trying to sneak on the bus. Then there was the creepy girl standing next to Jaci who talked to the guys like she'd known them her whole life even tho this was the first time she ever met them. I think Zac was kind of scared of her, but was trying to be nice. haha.
So I guess that's it. I'm definitely going to be posting pix once I get them developed. Can't wait till the next tour tho. I'm pretty sure they'll come back to New Hampshire.
