CHAPTER FOUR

Bella came out of the bathroom having washed her face, brushed her teeth and washed off any residual stickiness from the combination of saliva and cum, wearing a clean pair of panties and one of Tommy’s over-sized sleep shirts. “You know, you’ve really messed with my bedtime routine,” she informed him, climbing over Tommy’s slender body to her designated side of the hotel bed. Bella slipped between the sheets and laid on her stomach looking at him.

“How so?” he asked. “What do you usually do before bed?”

“Wash my face, brush my teeth, comb my hair,” Bella listed. “Then I put on my pajamas, climb in to bed and call you. But you’re here so I can’t call you and that just seems weird after all these nights.”

“You mean the past four nights?” Tommy said teasingly.

“Shut up,” she replied hitting Tommy on the shoulder.

He laughed and rubbed his shoulder a little. “That kinda hurt,” he told her. Bella stuck her tongue out at him making him giggle. “So we’ll just have to make up a new bedtime ritual while we’re together.”

“Oh? Like what?”

“Well, you can still wash your face and brush your teeth and comb your hair. You’ll still be able to climb in to bed, but you’ll just have to talk to me in person instead of over the phone,” he said.

“Oh yeah?” Bella asked with smirk.

Tommy nodded. “Now move closer.” Bella rolled her eyes and scooted over, so she was pressed against his side. Tommy wrapped his arms around Bella, pulling her close. “So how was your day?” he asked, as if they hadn’t spent most of the day together.

“It was a very good day actually. How about you?” Bella asked.

“Today was pretty good. Had an awesome performance tonight and it helped that you were there.” He smiled a sweet smile at Bella that made her heart thump a little against her ribs.

“Did it?” she asked. Tommy nodded, brushing the bangs that had fallen in to her eyes. “So what are your bedtime routines?” she asked.

“Well, if we’re on the bus, I basically just wash up and climb in to bed to call you,” Tommy answered. “You’re voice is so soothing when we’re whispering in the dark.”

“Mm, I feel the same about you,” Bella told him, snuggling into his side.

Tommy wrapped his arm around Bella, stroking her hair lightly. “But I have to tell you that having you here in my bed is a lot better than phone calls.”

“Really?” Bella asked. Tommy nodded. “And why’s that?”

“Because you’re here in the flesh,” he answered. “I get to hold you and cuddle you and kiss you to sleep. It’s so much better than over the phone. Over the phone  I have to pretend and pretending just doesn’t cut it.”

“I know the feeling,” she murmured.

“You do?” Tommy asked.

Bella nodded. “I feel so safe and protected in your arms. It’s rather comforting,” she explained.

“Well, how about this, when we’re together, we’ll make up our own bedtime rituals and when we’re apart we’ll go back to our regular bedtime routines,” Tommy suggested.

“But it’s not the same,” Bella whined with an overly-exaggerated pout. Tommy grinned, leaned in and sucked on her lower lip which made her moan quietly. “Mph, stop that,” she told him. “Aren’t we supposed to be getting ready for bed?”

Tommy chuckled quietly. “I suppose. But you’re the one who said we had all night.”

Bella laughed in response. “That’s true. Now what should we do for the rest of the night?” she asked.

“We could just cuddle and fall asleep. I don’t know about you, but I’m pretty tired after all that rocking out,” Tommy replied.

Bella smiled fondly at him. “I knew there was a reason I liked you.”

Tommy sat up, throwing the covers back and slung his legs over the side of the bed. “Hey, where are you going?” Bella asked.

“To do my nightly routine,” Tommy answered simply. Then he wandered in to the bathroom. Bella heard the faucet turn on, no doubt that Tommy was washing his face and brushing his teeth. When he came back out he was dressed in a pair of sleep pants, his face devoid of make-up. Then he crawled under the covers with Bella, snuggling in to her side.

Bella turned over to face Tommy, wrapping her arms around his waist, pulling him close. “So will this be our nightly routine from now on?” she asked.

Tommy nodded, “What do you think?”

“I think the longer you aren’t in this bed with me, the worse it is,” she answered. Tommy grinned, brushing Bella’s bangs out of her eyes.

“I kind of feel like that too,” he said. Then he rolled on top of Bella and buried his face in her neck. She pet his hair lovingly, enjoying the feel of his slender body on top of hers.

“Goodnight my fierce little pixe,” she told him.

“I love you,” Tommy murmured.

“What?” Bella asked, not sure if she had heard him right. Tommy lifted his head from her neck and looked her square in the eye.

“I love you, Bella Boo,” he repeated.

“But, Tommy, it’s only been five days,” she reminded him.

“Yeah, but it didn’t take me the whole five days to fall for you,” he said.

“How long did it take?” Bella asked.

“The moment you left me on Monday. I pretty much moped until today,” he explained.

“Until today?”

Tommy nodded. “I missed you so bad. I just wanted you here in my arms. I didn’t want to let you out of my sight.”

Bella had no words for Tommy, so she leaned up and gently pecked him on the mouth. As she pulled away she said, “To be honest, I think I’m falling in love with you too.”

“You are?” He asked, surprised.

Bella nodded. “There’s just something about you. I don’t know what it is, but you make me feel safe and like I can trust you.” She shrugged.

Tommy reached out, combing his fingers through Bella’s long (insert color) hair. “You’re very special to me,” he said. Then he leaned in, kissing her softly.

Bella smiled at him. “I like our new bedtime rituals,” she told him honestly. “But…”

“But what?” Tommy asked.

“I’m dreading the morning. I don’t want to leave you again.” Tears began to fill Bella’s eyes at the thought of losing Tommy all over again. “I don’t want to lose you,” she murmured tearfully.

Tommy pulled Bella in to a tight embrace, wiping the tears from her face. “You’re not going to lose me,” he stated firmly. “I won’t let that happen. I promise you.”

“Are you known for keeping your promises?” Bella asked.

Tommy nodded. “Only when it comes to you, princess.” He leaned over and kissed Bella sweetly. “Are you ready to turn out the lights?” Bella nodded. Tommy quickly slipped from the bed to turn off the overhead light. In the dark Bella could hear him swiftly pad his way back over to her, climb up on the bed and burrow under the covers. Then he wrapped his body around her, giving her a full body hug.

“This is nice,” she murmured as she snuggled further in to his embrace.

“Yeah,” he agreed quietly. Then he placed a soft, gentle kiss to her mouth. “I love you,” he whispered. “Sweet dreams.”

“No nightmares,” Bella replied quietly, smiling as that had become their way of saying goodnight to each other. That was one routine that Bella loved.
