By 4 o'clock today I will be One Less. I'm getting my third and final Gardisil shot. Should be painful. Srsly, it's one shot that burns. But in the end it's worth it and the pain goes away after a while. So it's not too bad.

There was just a loud knock on my door. I went to answer it and found my neighbors. A week or two ago, we, along with Jeff, bought raffle tickets from the kids. Today was the drawing. We didn't win anything. But apparently Jeff won a huge-ass pumpkin (that's starting to rot) and a gift certificate to Bread & Chocolate. I don't know if he'll want the b&c gift certificate b/c he's trying to lose weight and srsly, getting something from a place called Bread & Chocolate does not go with dieting. Maybe he'll let us keep it. I dunno. Pretty sure he won't want the pumpkin. Oh well. But I just called him at work and left him a message. He's probably at break right now.

Also, I'm going to do NaNoWriMo, but on an unofficial basis.

[interruption]: Jeff just called. He was like, What'd I win?! And I told him. He made me look to see how much the gift certificate is for and get this, it's $25!!!! Lucky sonuvabitch.

So anyway, back to my NaNoWriMo news. I'm doing it unofficially on my own. I'm not going to sign up for it. I just want to get a feel for it and maybe I'll actually enter it for real next year. But last night when I finished my Prompt 404 fic, I realized what I'm going to write. A while ago, I started writing a story called Strangers to Soulmates. In my head it wasn't a hanfic. But when I put it on paper and posted all of, what? Two chapters, I turned it into a Zaylor. I've decided that for unofficial-nanowrimo I'm going to post it as it started in my head; as a het fic with the main male character being this guy from a band I know that broke up last April. But really, the break up has nothing to do with the story. I figure since I'm not actually signing up for NaNoWriMo that I can just continue with a story I started instead of writing a brand new one. But it'll be sort of brand new considering I'm changing a bunch of it. But it's not like I have a whole hell of a lot written anyway. We'll see what happens.

Dear El-jay Family,

You might have heard that I entered my cat Logan (aka the Bitch Kitty) into a photo contest. It's the Bissell MVP Pet Photo Contest.

Basically, there will be a weekly prize of a Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum for the picture with the most votes. The top 5 pictures with the most votes weekly will then be entered as finalists. Then the grand prize winner will get their pet's photo on the Pet Hair Eraser Vacuum package and a $10,000.00 donation to the pet cause of their choice.

Logan is in Voting Period #9. Voting is open from March 4th - March 11th 2008. I also may be entering her in other voting periods to give her a better chance at winning. But just so you know, here is the picture for this period:
