The fam came to visit me yesterday. I got to meet Teeny Tiny Andrew for the first time! Here are some pic's of the occaision!

My sister posted this bulletin on myspace @ 12:28pm

so lil man is doing AWESOME! they took his CPAP (the tubes in his nose) out yesterday and he has been breathing 100% on his own which also means that he will not have to go back on it again!!! they also removed him from the lights cause he isnt yellow anymore. soon he will be off of the caffine and when gets off of that they will be able to see if he has sleep apnea which hopefully he doesnt and wont have cause if he does then he will be there longer. he hopefully will be able to come home in 3 weeks!! but lil guy has to gain weight in the incubator (which he has been) and gain outside in a regular bed as well. if he can stay the right color then they will be taking him out of the inclosed incubator soon. his belly also needs to digest his food better cause right now he is having a lil bit of a hard time getting it to digest thru large intestine but it is getting there. he needs to be able to either breast feed or bottle feed before he can go home.

thats all that really needs to happen before he can go home:) so hopefully he stays doing good and then we can take our man home:D YAY! he will be a week old tomorrow:) time goes by fast already lol

So Andrew DID have to be put on a breathing tube.
In the first, like, 36 hours of life he lost 6 oz.
But Nessa is out of the hospital and staying at the Ronald McDonald house so she can stay in Bangor and keep an eye on her teeny tiny son.
Everyone is doing well, tho.
Andrew's only problem is that he was born 2 months early and his teeny tiny lungs don't like that so much.
But everything is going well.
I wish I was in Bangor to see everyone.
I miss them.

I'm still so fucking tired from my Hanson weekend. Crap. It's been almost a week and I still want to just curl up on the couch and not move. I have all my hanson weekend photos uploaded to the computer, but I need to get the energy to actually post my long ass report of the weekend. It was pretty interesting. I stole cups. and Aura peed in my bathroom.

This will all make sense once I get to posting about the trip and everything.

Right now, I need to go eat something and.....yeah, that's about it.
Can you be hungover from one wine cooler?

As you guys may have read, I'm now the proud new aunty of a little baby boy. =)

ANDREW RICHARD
Born: April 27th, 2008 @ 10:34am
2 lbs, 14 oz
15 inches long

My younger sister Vanessa went to the hospital on Friday night. She was diagnosed with pre-eclampsia. (no clue if I spelled it right) The doctors were giving her medication to lower her blood pressure. They told her if they couldn't get it under control, they'd have to take the baby by c-section. Nessa wasn't due until June 26th.

So yesterday morning my little nephew was born. He's in the NICU. As of yesterday, he was breathing on his own with a little oxygen tube in his nose, but sometimes he'd stop breathing, which is common for preemies. The doctors said if he continued to do this tho, they'd have to tube him. No word yet today.

Other than being 2 months premature, my little nephew is happy and healthy it seems. Nessa was still sick yesterday so she wasn't allowed to go see Andrew. Hopefully today she is better and she'll get to hold her son for the first time. I'm sad that I missed out on the birth of my little nephew, but I'm just grateful that everything seems to be going okay so far. Keep your fingers crossed.
